ok so my friend and I have been arguing about whether or not muse is chill or aggressive.. we both agree they are an amazing band but I tend to view it as ambient chill and he views it as a pump me up aggressive sound..

we both have agreed that this debate is infinitely regressive, thus being mute because it is relative to ones taste but at the same time we would like to know what other people think..

so 1 being chill and 10 being aggressive rate this band according to your honest opinion of chill or aggressive and why.

I give it a 3 because I believe it is very ambient and artful. the best part in my opinion is the bass riff and would also give the illusion of aggressiveness because it isn't the stereotypical basic bass riff. which is why I would give it a 3. I am basing my opinion in relation to other bands and genres. this is neither upbeat nor aggressive but definitely good.

he gives it a 8 because it has "incredibly high energy" and the way a lot of the songs build on themselves pumps him up.

he typed his reason himself and I hope that our bias's do not influence anyone and we can have an honest opinion on this.
